For the shortest month of the year, February has felt like it’s lasted forever. Given how much there’s been to do that might have been a blessing in disguise. So, what’s happened in February? What’s heading your way in March?

The Last Precursor will always hold a special place in my heart, my first completed series. Written through a time when so much changed in my life, those characters have been a constant, the world a place I could dive into and forget about the real world, whether only for a few minutes or hours at a time.

You might be wondering if this is the end. For now, yes. However, where there’s a world to explore and characters who live on, there will always be ideas. Whether they’ll ever make it to a page or not is another matter and only time will tell...

Welcome to Crestwood

 

The start of February welcomed the news of a new start, a brand-new series and life after The Last Precursor. If you’ve found your way here from social media, you might have seen information appearing here and there. From vibes and lore to a title and, finally, a cover.

The Sapphire Chalice is coming soon! As I write this, plans are being put in place, i’s are being dotted and t’s crossed and everything is coming towards me at an alarming pace which brings us to March and a look at what lies ahead. If you haven't already, you can sign up to my mailing list and start reading Chapter One today!

ARC applications for The Sapphire Chalice are open until the end of the month and seeing so many apply (over 100 already!) has been incredible. If you’re interested in the chance to get your hands on an ARC copy before release then you can find the application form here! Throughout March I’ll be working my way through the applications ready for the release of the ARC copies on April 2nd.

Whether you’re involved in the ARC process or not, there is plenty to look forward to in March where The Sapphire Chalice is concerned. I’ll be sharing character art (from the initial sketches I’ve seen you’re in for a treat), information about some of the classes and life at Crestwood and, of course, the release date!

And, if that wasn’t enough, you’ll have the chance to have your own placement with a quiz that will reveal your own elemental alignment (Who doesn’t love the occasional buzz feed style quiz, right?) and some insights into each house and what it means to be a member.

For now though, that’s all I can say except thank you for embarking on this journey with me and I can’t wait for you to step through the gates of Crestwood Academy!
